Erin Zureick is a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She majors in journalism and is from Cincinnati. Her areas of interest lie in new media, business journalism and international politics. This year she is serving as the editor-in-chief of The Daily Tar Heel, a 20,000 circulation student newspaper at UNC that serves Orange County.
Erin has spent the past two summer in Beijing, including a stint reporting with the China Daily Co., China’s largest English-language news source. She covered Olympic press conferences and wrote feature stories. The previous summer she participated in an intensive Mandarin program.
